Kevin Garnett Graces May Cover of Mens Fitness
NEW YORK, NY (April 15, 2009) - After winning the 17th NBA championship in the franchise's storied history last season, the Boston Celtics knew it would be difficult to defend their title. Now, in the May issue of Men's Fitness , All-Star power forward Kevin Garnett talks about what it will take for them to accomplish the feat again. "We don't worry about who's the underdog. Remember [the 2006] Miami [Heat]? They weren't favored, but Shaq and Dwayne Wade found chemistry. That's what did it for us last year, and we like to think we can get it done again. When you chase a dream, you chase it wholeheartedly. Once you capture it, I think you embrace it. You know what it feels like, you know the steps it took to get there."
